    Hospital Advocacy

    A hospital advocate, also known as a patient advocate, is a professional who helps patients navigate the healthcare system. They can help patients with many tasks, including: 

    • Communication: Helping patients communicate with their healthcare providers 

    • Appointments: Setting up appointments for doctor visits and medical tests 

    • Support: Providing financial, legal, and social support 

    • Education: Providing patients and caregivers with the information they need to make decisions about their care 

    • Advocacy: Speaking up for patients and working with insurance companies, employers, and others who may affect their healthcare 

    These can be done for a regular appointment or on a birth team.

    Birth Care

    Savannah is not a Midwife, Doula or OBGYN.

    She can help with herbs, medicines, supplements, baths, alignment / positioning, pain management, supplying postpartum care and alignment check of baby / mom. Care of father, supporting midwives, doulas and birth teams.

    A birth partner's main role is to support and encourage the birthing person during labor. Some of their responsibilities include:
